How to see your Pink Things results !!!!

Don’t click on the exercise on the Pink Things page!!!

Whenever you click on a Pink Thing exericise, Blackboard will open

that specific exercise so you can do it.

Don’t use the Blackboard “My Grades” !!!!!!

• I’ll use a different system to show you your grades
• My Grades doesn’t record your Pink Things grades properly (always shows “most recent” rather than “highest”)
• Just totally & completely ignore the My Grades, please!!

So, how DO you see your Pink Things results ???

Click on “Blackboard Tools” or "Tools"

Click on “Maple T.A. Course Tools”

(You may have to scroll down to find it)

You may get a warning !!! Be sure to pick the right response so that you are telling the browser that you want to see EVERYTHING on the webpage.

Here’s one common popup – click “No” for this one – you don’t want to view only the secure content!!!

Here’s another common popup – click “Yes” for this one – you do want to view the nonsecure content!!!

The Gradebook shows you all the Pink and Blue Things you’ve started.

• Select “All”

• Then click “Submit”

The next screen will show you all the exercises you’ve started and your “Best score” for each. If your “Best score” for a given exercise matches the “Total Points Available” then you’ll get credit for having completed that exercise!!

So, this student would not receive credit for “U1 – Lecture Syllabus Hw” because only 4 of the 22 items were completed.
